Private lessons are a great way to get started on the slopes or to elevate your skiing and riding to the next level. With one-on-one or small group instruction, a student can often progress his/her abilities more in one lesson than in an entire season without professional instruction. Sierra-at-Tahoe® Resort offers many affordable private lesson options, including:
Sierra caters to all levels of skiers and riders by pairing up the appropriate instructor for each ability and age. Choose from 2 hours, 3 hours or a full day of one-on-one instruction to help improve your ability. This individualized experience provides instant feedback and personal attention helping you fine tune your technique while enjoying a day out on the mountain. Private lessons can be for one person or groups up to five people so you can stay together with your friends and family and still benefit from private instruction.

Whether your idea of adventure is the undeniable adrenaline rush of one’s first time on the slopes, weightlessly floating through an early morning powder stash, the thrill of running gates, dizzying tricks in the halfpipe, a serene backcountry escape, or merely negotiating the mountain safely with kid, Sierra-at-Tahoe® Resort’s Women’s camps can take you there! Our specially trained team strives to provide an exciting and fun experience by promoting self-confidence and building one’s ability in an encouraging and safe environment.
Sierra™ Resort’s all female learning environment is designed to improve on-hill skill and confidence for women ages 18 and over of any skiing or snowboarding ability. The camps begin with a self-assessment by the participants to determine ability level and comfort zone. Women are then placed in groups that will be most conducive to learning. Or, a group of friends can form their own group if they are all comfortable skiing and riding together. Each camp starts with a welcome breakfast on Sunday morning and will continue with a syllabus designed around participants’ goals.
All camps meet at 9:00 a.m. in the Sierra Pub.
